Colours and fillings
Colours
The DYFA transoms and aluminium profiles are powder coated with RAL 9005 gloss 03, fine structure, which gives the system its wrought-iron appearance.
DYFA stock raw profiles for alternative RAL colour coatings, and thus the system can be taken into many different design directions, complementing the wants and aesthetics of the interior design.
Fillings
As standard, the DYFA New York system is made with glass fillings of 6 or 8 mm toughened safety glass. If you wish to add a certain ambience to the room, this can be done by applying alternative fillings with different colours and textures.
The customisation options are endless and DYFA can deliver alternative fillings of for example rippled decorative glass, mirror glass or frosted glass. Likewise, you can venture in completely different directions and replace the glass fillings with alternative materials such as sound reducing boards or wood.
The DYFA systems can likewise be delivered with soundproof glass, which lowers the noise level. This can be an advantage in large office spaces where the noise level can affect your employees negatively.
Pull and lever handles
Pull handles
DYFAs pull handles can be added to pivot and hinged frame doors.
The pull handles are available in black aluminium, oak, smoked oak, brass, stainless steel, and a combination of black aluminium with oak or smoked oak. They are all available in Ø42 mm. The black and brass handles are also available in Ø30 and Ø20 mm.
All pull handles are delivered with black knobs and fittings for fastening on the door leaf. The instructional video for mounting the pull handles can be viewed here
Lever handles
For DYFAs hinged frame doors, there can be added lever handles and escutcheons in black and stainless steel. Other handles can be acquired if requested.

Hinges and door closers
Concealed hinges
DYFAs New York doors can be delivered with a concealed hinged, that is completely concealed when the door is closed. The concealed hinge has the advantage of being adjustable in all directions, which makes it easier to readjust the doors if it is needed.
Additionally, the concealed hinge gives a purer and more minimalistic look, since the focus is on the clean lines which no longer are broken.
Door closers
DYFA offers several types of door closers, both visible and concealed. With a door closer you can adapt the door to fit your needs. The door closer is adapted to the door, so it both can keep it open and ensure that it closes by itself. This can be an advantage in offices where there is a lot of traffic through the doors, and where it is not everybody that remembers to close the doors after themselves.

Fake transoms
Add-on fake transoms for full glass solutions
Besides the module system, the assortment also encompasses New York solutions to conventional full glass partition walls built of large complete glass sheets, where the New York add-on fake transoms can be added. This add-on solution can be added to the existing interior as well as exterior glass solutions.
The glued add-on transoms are sold by the meter and are available in two variations:
- Profiled “New York” transoms (35 mm x 16 mm)
- Straight contour “Copenhagen” transoms (35 mm x 3 mm)
Transoms- and wall-mounted shelf system
Transom-Mounted Shelf System
The DYFA transom shelf can be added directly on the glass walls on the New York transom with DYFAs shelf supports. The shelf supports have a range of 6 mm and the standard shelf is made with 6 mm toughened safety glass with a depth of 150 mm. The maximum c/c length between each shelf support is 500 mm. The length of the shelf is customised according to specific measures with a maximum length of 1500 mm. The shelves have a maximum weight capacity of 5 kilograms.
Wall-Mounted Shelf System
The DYFA wall shelf consists of square aluminium bars with shelf supports. The shelf system is made to custom measures. The shelf supports have an adjustable range up to 20 mm and thus they can be adapted to many different shelf types and material thicknesses.
The standard shelf is made with 8 mm toughened safety glass with a depth of 300 mm. Maximum c/c length between each shelf support is 1000 mm. The length of the shelf is customised according to specific measures with a maximum length of 3000 mm. The shelves have a maximum weight capacity of 10 kilograms.
Wine spine
Wine spine with bottleneck holes made of solid oak. It is available in oak or smoked oak.
The wine spine is delivered with black knobs and a fastening kit for wall mounting. It is Ø42 mm, with a length of 580 mm and a maximum weight capacity of 10 bottles.
